How To Create Airbnb Welcome Message Templates

You can typically configure message templates through the Airbnb app itself. Here’s how you can create a scheduled guest message that automatically sends once guests check in.

1. Open the Airbnb app and switch to “Hosting” mode if you haven’t already.
2. Go to the “Messages” tab and click on the “Settings” icon.
3. Select “Scheduled Messages” and click on the “+” icon or “Create a message template”
4. Input a name for your template and copy-paste any of our free Airbnb welcome message templates below.
5. Select the listings you want the template to be active for, and set the scheduling to “Check-In.”
6. Click on “Done” to save.

Alternatively, if you are using a property management system or a guest messaging software, you’ll need to configure the template within those platforms instead.
